A young girl's wad of chewing gum is granted sentience from a dentists X-Ray machine. The wad wanders to streets at night, sucking up people's moisture, turning them into 'flavourless' zombies. The Ripping Friends discover that he is vulnerable to heat, and rip him into pieces that they send to distant parts of the universe with rocket ships.
